We told you… now it is here.
MOUNTAIN VIEW, California (Reuters) — Google Inc. said on Wednesday it is combining its different Web search services into one “Universal Search” service that will present Web sites, news, video and other results on one page. Source- Cnn.com
Maybe you should watch that Web 2.0 video now.
Our prediction? Many contextual advertisers are going to get slapped silly from this change.
Were going to show you one of our profitable sites that was designed specifically to draw contextual ads (google adsense) and profit from them. We do not ever do this as a rule but we think it is important.
This site uses keyword search phrases as article titles for a popular search phrase/phrases. The articles are rotated as you navigate the site to feed new content to the search engines.
The ads are placed using viewer heat map technology. This simply means they are put where most people look and click. You are drawn to them without knowing it.
Still this is a fairly static site and has duplicate content. This type of site will suffer after the google search algorithm change on Wednesday.
Here is the site http://www.caribbeanvacations.thewomanreport.com/
Looks nice. Plenty of relevant content but it will likely not survive the new “Google Slap”.

The good news – we have been ready for this. Sites built as Content Management Systems will prevail and that is what we build. Now aren’t you glad you are our client (for those who are). You are already set.
Even your personal blog can earn it’s keep when built on the right platform.
