unscrupulous jerks bringing in a load of undesirables

IMHO I think he is way off base.

Fortunately for those of us on Twitter currently, as studies plainly show, we’re nigh-immune to the shady tactics of those who would like to use the system for profit whilst at the same time adding no value.

Seems to me his twit & link baiting post to a blog page with around 20 ads is clearly a “use of the system for profit” with over one twit per his 9,000+ followers…

I wonder Is Twitter Vulnerable To Blogger Attack?

I would say yes.

Well… They have there own newsletter (the Guinea Pigs) and a strong following of Pig lovers. Of course some people want to eat them. There is a nice curry recipe at Wikipedia.

The point here is that a 6 figure business can be built on a long tail keyword like Guinea Pig care. Rabid fans and very very little competition. If you have Guinea Pigs you likely need a book on the care & handling, unless they are for dinner.

All of our site platforms can do that for you easily.

That’s me on iTunes in the pic - I was testing the delivery system - very easy for anyone to do from their admin panel.

” Meanwhile, Jobs has suddenly become the most feared man in Hollywood, bragging Thursday about Apple’s scary dominance in digital media sales. Apple has sold more than 3 billion songs and 95 million TV shows via iTunes. While music CD sales crash and burn, almost one-third of all music sales are now digital. As Jobs euphemistically said yesterday, “iTunes is leading the way.” from PC World

Pretty soon you will need to have certain content available in iTunes - you can bet your competitors will. Read the stats in that article above.

Sadly Gary Halbert passed away this year. His family has left the newsletter online. It may be the best resource available anywhere to learn the art of copy writing and direct sales pieces.

The complete Golden Nuggets method post is in the archives. Here is one of my favorites
http://www.thegaryhalbertletter.com/Newsletters/zkkk_killer_headlines.htm

I would say that there is not an ebook that you can purchase that will teach you more about marketing, copy writing and making money online that can be learned from this site. Gary Halbert is a legend and I truly miss his newsletter even when he called us all “shit weasels”.

You can read his free online newsletter here http://www.thegaryhalbertletter.com/
Read the the most mailed direct sales letters in history here (Written by Halbert)
http://www.markjoyner.name/temp/halbert/coa.pdf

Below is a video Ed Dale made during The Thirty Day Challenge. You will not get everything he is referring to unless your have read or were a part of the challenge. However if you listen you will pick up Dales own take on the importance of these Golden Nuggets. They are Golden Nuggets in themselves.

Unconventional Guerrilla Marketing

We’ve talked about Web 2.0 and Social networking a little bit. Lets talk about using it in marketing a product for a small business.

The latest video from this company posted on youtube has had over 3 million views (they did something bad to an ipod).

A video from a small guitar lessons company has had 250,000+ views.

A video of a young lady with a blog about green tea (not shown) danced to a song. To the tune of 1,000,000 views - her website visits and adsense earnings, well… lets just say they improved quite a bit.

CTR’s or click through rates can be as high as 50+% for this medium. So imagine 250,000 views, 125,000 targeted visitors and a 2.5% conversion rate (a very good and achievable rate) of visitors to sales on a $47 product.

Thats a cool $146,875 in sales - in a week or a month.

Are you catching our message? Do you see the potential? Good.

We put a blank (black screen) video with the right tags on youtube - result? Over 1,000 people watching the blank screen waiting for something to happen. Hmm…

All of our clients get our Guerrilla Marketing Guide along with Social Networking & YouTube guides. We even give you tools to cheaply produce your own video, software and step by step instructions.

Drop by when you have an idea.

Here is the video.

Tom
ps - The Internet = $$$ & Not just for the big guys. It’s bigger than you can imagine.
